Umbraco has appointed Phil Whittaker as Staff Engineer (AI) to spearhead the development of its MCP Server, enhancing AI integration within its widely-used content management system (CMS). With 25 years of experience, Whittaker aims to facilitate organizational adoption of AI technologies, supporting major clients like Carlsberg Group and the British Army. Umbraco boasts a robust open-source community of over 250,000 contributors, which, along with international digital agency partnerships, ensures continuous support and updates.
