Anthropic has enhanced its AI chatbot, Claude, with a new feature that integrates seamlessly with Canva, making it invaluable for users looking to design and manage projects. Now, users can simply describe their needs, and Claude will assist in tasks such as creating presentations, resizing images, and filling out templates. The integration supports keyword searches in Canva Docs and generates summaries, all through the Claude interface. However, access requires paid subscriptions for both services. This partnership utilizes the Model Context Protocol (MCP)—an open-source standard enabling AI models to connect with various apps, likened to the “USB-C port of AI.” Major companies, including Microsoft and Figma, are backing this initiative. As Canva’s Ecosystem head noted, the integration marks a significant step toward merging creativity and productivity. Additionally, Claude has recently partnered with Figma and launched a new integrations directory, enhancing user convenience across platforms.
