Google Photos has launched a significant AI update featuring six innovative tools designed to enhance photo editing, searching, and management. Now available on both Android and iOS, users can leverage natural language voice commands to simplify their editing experience. By tapping “Help me edit,” users can articulate their desired changes—be it adjusting lighting or swapping backgrounds—seamlessly. The new “Create with AI” section introduces AI-powered templates, enabling quick photo transformations without complex instructions. Additionally, the AI flaw correction tool allows users to make precise edits, such as removing objects or adjusting facial expressions, via simple commands. The Ask Photos feature lets users search their library using everyday language, supporting over 100 countries and 17 languages. A dedicated Ask button facilitates easy interaction with AI for locating specific images or editing requests. iPhone and iPad users in the US can also enjoy streamlined editing with gesture-based commands and one-tap suggestions.
