Although the app includes disclaimers clarifying the AI nature of its content, it encourages community engagement among friends. Initially available in the US and Canada, with priority for Pro users, Sora’s rollout includes features like the compelling “For You” feed and customizable mood filters. One standout feature, Cameos, allows users to generate videos using someone else’s likeness. Powered by the advanced Sora 2 model, the app excels in realistic video generation that’s difficult to distinguish from real footage. However, concerns about misuse of deepfakes remain.
