The University of South Florida (USF) is launching a free microcourse, “AI Whisperer: Crafting Prompts for Generative AI,” aimed at non-technical individuals eager to enhance their AI skills. This self-paced, online program teaches participants to select suitable AI tools, craft effective prompts, and produce high-quality outputs for various applications. The course requires approximately three to four hours to complete and is available until February 28, 2026, with an optional $39 digital badge for successful completion.
In addition to this, USF’s “GenAI in Action: Impact and Possibilities” microcourse is also being re-released, providing foundational insights into generative AI across multiple disciplines. Both courses, developed by USF’s Innovative Education team and faculty from the Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, emphasize practical experience, reflecting community feedback. Registration for these courses is accessible through the USF Office of Microcredentials, reinforcing USF’s commitment to enhancing community access to vital AI education.
