His talk, “In an Age of AI, What Should Students Learn and How Should They Learn It?” addresses the transformative impact of generative artificial intelligence on education. As AI can swiftly draft essays and solve complex problems, Dr. McCarty will explore how these advancements disrupt traditional learning and employment landscapes in sectors such as business, law, and finance. A Q&A session will follow, allowing for direct interaction with Dr. McCarty. The event is free for the public, with light refreshments served post-lecture.
