Uzbekistan is collaborating with OpenAI to implement ChatGPT EDU and enhance AI education. In a recent meeting, officials, including Valerie Fokke and Deeps Patel from OpenAI, discussed the integration of AI into Uzbekistan’s educational framework. ChatGPT EDU will empower educators and students to utilize advanced language models, creating personalized learning experiences that adapt to individual knowledge levels, thereby addressing learning gaps and automating administrative tasks.
The partnership aims to complement Uzbekistan’s “1 Million AI Leaders” initiative by incorporating OpenAI’s courses and expertise, ensuring students and educators access cutting-edge AI technology. Additionally, discussions included support for local startups through access to OpenAI’s API, participation in hackathons, and acceleration programs. Future plans involve establishing a GPU cluster and developing an Uzbek-language data corpus, advancing local AI capabilities. A roadmap has been set to focus on integrating ChatGPT EDU in universities, expanding AI education, and fostering startup innovation.
