Google has launched an innovative image-to-video generation feature on its Veo 3 AI video generator through the Gemini app, enhancing capabilities first introduced with the Flow tool. This feature, which debuted at the I/O developer conference in May, has now expanded to over 150 countries. Currently, access is limited to Google AI Ultra and Google AI Pro plan subscribers, allowing a maximum of three video creations per day without rollover. Users can easily create video clips by selecting the “Videos” option, uploading an image, and adding sound by describing the desired audio. Since launching seven weeks ago, over 40 million videos have been generated across Gemini and Flow. Each video produced displays a “Veo” watermark and utilizes an invisible SynthID digital watermark for content identification.
