Google is enhancing the user experience of its Gemini chatbot on Android by potentially relocating the AI model switcher to the bottom of the smartphone screen. This change aims to facilitate one-handed model switching, alleviating the challenge presented by the current top-positioned switcher that can be cumbersome on larger devices. Users can select between quick-response flash models and more detailed pro models to suit their needs. Additionally, a UI update may also be implemented for the video menu, possibly removing the current card display in favor of a clearer designation at the top of the page. These enhancements, discovered in the latest Google app beta version (16.31.75.sa.arm64), represent a significant usability improvement for Gemini users. Though these features are in testing, they may not be included in the final release. Stay tuned for further updates from Android Authority on this exciting development!
