NVIDIA has launched Project G-Assist, an AI assistant for GeForce RTX PCs, accessible via the NVIDIA app. This assistant optimizes and controls systems through customizable voice or text commands and supports user-developed plug-ins. To encourage innovation, NVIDIA is hosting a virtual Hackathon until July 16, inviting developers of all skill levels to create and share plug-ins in Python, C++, or through a ChatGPT-based tool for simplified coding. Participants must submit their projects on GitHub and a promotional video on social media. The judging criteria include innovation, technical execution, usability, and community impact. Prizes include a GeForce RTX 5090 laptop for the winner, with additional graphics cards for runners-up. Resources such as webinars, blogs, and Discord support are available to assist participants. Winners will be announced on August 20, showcasing their work on NVIDIA’s social media platforms.
