Workday has launched “Sana,” a groundbreaking suite of AI capabilities aimed at transforming enterprise software. Unlike typical AI tools that operate independently, Sana integrates directly into Workday’s security and data frameworks. This integration ensures compliance and accuracy in HR and finance operations, essential for reliable business functions. Co-founder Aneel Bhusri emphasizes the importance of connecting AI to trusted systems for effective enterprise performance. The rollout features three offerings: Sana for Workday, a conversational interface for streamlined accessibility; the Sana Self-Service Agent, equipped with over 300 skills for various tasks; and Sana Enterprise, designed to interact with external applications like Salesforce and Google Drive. This hybrid architecture allows Sana to facilitate multi-step workflows and automate tasks seamlessly. Additionally, to enhance user adoption, Workday introduces “Flex Credits,” enabling customers to access Sana without a new license. This innovative approach positions Sana as a pivotal tool for enhancing workplace efficiency.
