The gradual rollout occurred from November 1 to 14, 2025, during which Grok 4.1 was favored in 64.78% of comparisons with Grok 4. LMArena evaluations ranked Grok 4.1’s Thinking mode highest with 1,483 points, outperforming competitors like Google’s Gemini 2.5 Pro. Grok 4.1 also excelled in emotional intelligence, scoring 1,585 points, surpassing models like OpenAI’s GPT-5. On creative writing assessments, Grok 4.1 achieved impressive scores while maintaining low hallucination rates of 12.09%.
