This innovation, announced by Meaghan from TeamYouTube, enhances the remix capabilities of the platform, allowing creators to select clips and receive AI-generated prompts for continuation. Up to 5 seconds of new content can be seamlessly integrated while preserving the original video. This feature aims to help creators overcome creative blocks without sacrificing personal expression, maintaining control over prompts and editing. Global rollout is underway, excluding the EU and UK due to regulatory considerations. Extend with AI complements existing tools, like the Cut feature, and supports previously launched AI tools like Dream Track and Dream Screen.
