Navigating the AI Landscape: A Workshop Experience
Recently, our internal workshop led by the AI team unveiled some surprising realities about our understanding of Artificial Intelligence. Here’s what we discovered:
- Knowledge Gaps: Key team members struggled with fundamental AI concepts and terminology.
- Confusion in Definitions: A senior developer described AI as a subset of machine learning, yet foundational topics like stochastic processes remained unclear.
- Product Integrity: We learned that half of our “self-hosted” models rely on external platforms like OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Operational Oversight: Uncertainty about the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) models in our products pointed to potential oversights in our offerings.
These findings raise critical questions about our readiness to market AI solutions effectively. Are we equipped to provide genuine AI products to our clients?
If you’re passionate about AI and tech innovation, join us in discussing these insights! How can we better bridge the knowledge gap within our teams? Share your thoughts! 🔗 #ArtificialIntelligence #TechInnovation #AIProducts
