Atlassian Corp. has expanded its AI assistant, Rovo, introducing new “AI-powered skills” and developer tools to enhance enterprise workflows. Initially launched in May 2024, Rovo now integrates Atlassian Intelligence and the Teamwork Graph for personalized responses, and will soon be available on desktop and mobile beyond core apps like Jira and Confluence. New features include Rovo Chat, which adds interaction capabilities, a collaborative Canvas for team projects, and personal memory to remember preferences across tasks. Rovo Studio has also been upgraded to enable users to create custom AI agents with third-party capabilities from platforms like GitHub and Figma. Additionally, Atlassian announced the Software Collection, which includes Rovo Dev, a context-aware coding assistant that automates routine tasks and integrates seamlessly with existing tools like Jira and Bitbucket. This expansion aims to streamline software development, automate workflows, and enhance productivity, solidifying Atlassian’s commitment to AI innovation in enterprise software.
