It's not just Musk's Grok

Despite regulatory efforts to curb AI tools like Grok, which reportedly enabled users to undress images of individuals, various similar applications remain readily available online. The i Paper’s investigation revealed multiple undressing apps accessible through popular search engines such as Google and Bing. These tools, often found on platforms like Telegram, allow users to manipulate AI-generated images, with some offering free trials and others requiring payment. The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) reported an alarming rise in distress calls from minors targeted by such technologies. Recent UK legislation now criminalizes the production of non-consensual intimate images, signaling heightened regulatory scrutiny. Social media platforms, including X, must comply with the Online Safety Act, facing significant fines if found negligent. Despite assurances from app developers about user safety, the persistent nature and accessibility of these tools pose ongoing risks to children and vulnerable individuals online.
