Microsoft announced the upcoming launch of Microsoft Learning Zone, an AI-powered learning app designed for Copilot+ PCs, following its initial reveal as “Project Spark” in January. Set for public preview this summer, the app enables educators to create personalized lessons using both their own materials and content from partners. While lessons can only be generated on Copilot+ PCs, students can access them on any Windows device. The app also provides data-driven insights for tracking student progress. Collaborations with organizations like NASA, The Economist Educational Foundation, and Minecraft Education aim to enhance real-world relevance in lessons, while integration with Kahoot! allows for interactive games. Additionally, Microsoft 365 Copilot will later introduce AI-driven educational features, enabling lesson planning and quizzes, and private preview agents will offer personalized coaching for students on specific subjects.
