Statsig’s founder and CEO, Vijaye Raji, will transition to OpenAI as the Chief Technology Officer of the Applications organization, reporting to Fidji Simo. This acquisition aims to enhance OpenAI’s experimentation capabilities and improve user experiences with products like ChatGPT and Codex. Statsig will continue to operate independently, with its employees joining OpenAI, ensuring a measured integration approach.
