Samsung has launched One UI 8, its latest software update, enhancing the Galaxy ecosystem with advanced artificial intelligence tools and fortified security measures. Initially available for the Galaxy S25 series, the update will subsequently roll out to the Galaxy S24 range, Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and more.
One UI 8 offers personalized suggestions, real-time app updates, and traffic insights. Security features include Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP) for app-specific data storage and Knox Matrix for automatic sign-out of compromised devices. It also strengthens Secure Wi-Fi with cutting-edge cryptography.
AI capabilities include Gemini Live for interactive experiences and Circle to Search for enhanced in-app assistance. The update is tailored for various devices, adding features like AI Results View and customisable wallpaper options for the Z Flip. Creative tools such as Portrait Studio and Audio Eraser, along with accessibility features like Call Captions, round out the enhancements, alongside a redesigned clock and new emoji customizations.
