Specifically designed for education, Gemini for Education enhances collaboration with expanded access to Google Vids, simplifying video creation for instructional purposes. This AI suite is available for free to Google Workspace education accounts.
Teachers can create custom AI versions called “Gems” to assist students needing extra support, while Notebook LM helps develop interactive study guides. Additional tools include real-time AI reading support using the Read Along in Classroom feature.
The new Class Tools mode enhances classroom interaction, allowing teachers to share content directly onto student screens. Google is also improving tracking of student progress, managing AI tool access, securing user data, and optimizing Google Meet for enhanced learning experiences.
